Hindu Faith Funeral Services
For the families in our community who are of Hindu faith, we here at Johnstons' Wellwood Funeral Home have prepared a funeral service that is specifically designed to accommodate all of the common traditions of Hindu faith. The service includes a visitation period at the funeral home the morning or afternoon prior to the service held at the local crematory. Preparations can be made so that you can view your loved one the morning of the service as well. We have chapels available at our funeral home that can accommodate even the largest of families, up to approximately 200 people. Or we also can provide a smaller chapel for smaller families, or if a more intimate service is preferred. After the morning service at the funeral home, there would be a procession to the local crematory, where a traditional Hindu cremation service can be held.
COST OF SERVICES
Direct Cremation: $2526. + Cremation Container: $62. + Hearse: $511. = $3,099.
With Viewing: add $876. for Body Preparations = $3,975.
Costs do not include third party charges, such as the crematory fee, SCME Clearance fee, or death certificate copies. Average cost of crematory fee + SCME clearance fee = approx. $450.
